  10. Theory is not a fancy guess. It is a hypothesis that is widely accepted because it has a lot of evidence in its favor. Even a hypothesis is not a fancy guess...it is an EDUCATED guess based on logic. "Fancy guess" has no place in science.

  15. Rattlers aren't going extinct any time soon. They're doing it to keep their population in check. Too many predators in one area is not good for the ecosystem or the safety of humans, pets, or livestock.

  16. I generally give snakes their due respect as animals and important parts of their ecosystems, but I wouldn't want to stumble across a rattler. I think there are two sides to this story.
