  1. The reopening of government, and the 3 week negotiation period is not in itself a bad thing, I agree, that in itself is not caving in. It had to be done to (1) Show willing (2) allow payment of wages, yes got that. But 700,000 is now 1.5 million immigrants allowed to stay, he's already had his arm twisted BEFORE the 3 week period. Better to simply reopen government period, no hint of any deal and find alternative funding for the wall perhaps a 10% cut in the funding of Israel would do the trick, that would bring in at least 30.500 million. Enough to make a start on the wall
