Don't worry about your ' haters' as other commenters have mentioned these areas exist the world over. It's particularly interesting on a few levels. Historically, culturally, emotionally, & architecturally. Also there is a certain bleak yet warm feel about the place you visited. Modern buildings often lack a sort of human feel. So please don't be bothered about your ' haters' they simply lack the confidence to say Russia is a nice place, even though it's had it's problems in the past.

This store is like a better version of a British store called B&Q. I think playing traditional Russian music whilst videoing around the store wouldn't ' go'. However I like traditional Russian music, so much better than what passes as music in 2018 in the West.

Brrrrrrrr cold, but very nice to see your holiday festivities, never give up on your culture & customs great stuff

City life I suppose 🤔 Obviously most of Russia has a cold climate and perhaps it makes sense to live in apartments. A pattern that's become global in city life. However I think it it can end up looking soulless. I would prefer to live in a dacha

Very enterprising of you both. The question on everyone's mind... what parts did you replace? Was it the ignition coil pack?

Good weather, blue skies 🌤️ Over here in North Wales 🇬🇧 it's been cloudy and cold for weeks. The village & datcha communities look neat & tidy

Here in Britain 50 years ago in the smaller villages dogs used to roam free. Now in 2022, not only do they have to be on leads, the owners have to pick up their dogs waste in a plastic bag, when they go to the toilet. Some say it's because there are so many Muslims living here now, and they don't like dogs

Nice clear video, well edited, with beautiful time-lapse photography

We watch your channel on the television and it's not easy to leave comments in that way. So I'm typing using my mobile. YES it would be very interesting to know more of the Soviet era. Obviously politically up until the 1980, government might have be repressive. (Here in the West they repress the wishes of the average person, but don't let you know they are doing it. ) 😕However the daily lives of the Russian people and society would be very interesting. Hobbies, social life, what young people did, how the fashion industry was standardised, transport ( all types) etc

Unsure what you mean about a ' toxic ' society in Russia. There are careless, nasty people in every country. We have the same in the West, AND more. In our schools throughout Europe & Britain White European children are taught to feel shame about who they are, feeling pride is NOT allowed. On top of this our poor children are also taught many perverse things, and not allowed to be children. Our boarders are wide open, our young women fall victim to grooming gangs. Our tax money & our health service is spent of incomers from the 3rd world, whilst our pensioners freeze in cold weather. I could say much more, but I will leave it at that.

I remember glasnost, and the demise of the old USSR. Shortly after this happened, the global elites took the opportunity to fast forward the globalist NWO plans, as, I think they felt there was no opposition. The world over the millennia sorted itself into countries ( yes that often had a human cost ) but it was very nice to visit other countries that didn't adopt the same way of life. The world should be multipolar that makes for an interesting world. There's a fine line between some consumerism & an over consumerist lifestyle. Too much money spoils people, too little makes lif harsh, but makes folks more thoughtful and inventive

A well ' shot' & interesting video, I felt as if I was walking around the university myself. I also had the feeling the students were there to learn, and didn't have an axe to grind. Nice building.

Different Russia YouTube, Google etc probably don't like the word Different or Russia It's either their way or the highway. It's probably an attempt at censorship But keep it up, great videos

@geofsharp658 No, to the extent it's enforced I don't think so. In very densely populated areas, perhaps, but it's even inforced in remote rural areas. The dog population is about 9 million in Britain, cats are about 11 million. Cats roam freely everywhere, kill all sorts of wildlife, responsible for decrease in songbirds and defecate in parks, gardens streets, no laws govern this. I suppose people know this, and the fact that Muslims consider dogs to be unclean and think .............?
1
@gammondog Well I didn't know about that Jewish lady. Years ago dog owners used to be more responsible,( well here in Britain) and trained, or encouraged their dogs to do their business in the gutter, and never near children's playgrounds. I suppose folks aren't as responsible in many ways these days 😕🤔 even with their own children!
