I work with the public, and the way parents don't even bother controlling their children is unreal, horrible messes, throwing fits wanting food on the menu and not eating it or throwing it on the floor, and parents just can't be bothered to clean up the mess all over the place. It's a disgrace. No one wants to eat in a place like that. Teach your children to behave.

  9. Let's hope she moves on. I rented to an acquaintance years ago for what was supposed to be 1 week, 2 at the most, 3 months later that person was still in my house yelling at me, taking over. So, when they left for work, I packed up their things, removed it from my house, and changed the lock, dead bolted the door. I was told by that person I'd never get them out of my house due to squatters rights and their rent checked bounced. Never again will I do something so stupid. You can't help people.

  17. My heart bleeds for these drivers. I don't have a dog. And years ago when we did we kept them in the house or fenced, little yapper dogs. Everyone need to put a package licker beside their mailbox that uses the amazon app tounlick it for the delivery drivers. Have buried cinderblocks to tie it down with metal straps.

The ducks may have attacked this person for being too near their nests, and possibly being in the park after dark. I would say it is someone who is living in the park or there regularly. I would set up cameras all through that park. Asking someone to stop will not stop the behavior. Arrest will.

  19. I don't agree, it's madness. Using condensed milk, water and a tablespoon of Karo is fine. I was born in the 50s before formula and was a twin 4.2 pounds and sister was 3.2 pounds. We ate it and I'm 64. It's good. You also supplement with 2 tbsp. OJ in warm water daily for the vitamins.

  27. It's a scary thought an adult or anyone could impersonate a child and get into a school. I guess the next step at schools besides metal detectors, is facial recognition software at all entrances. To have made this a valid training exercise, she should have coordinated with the principal to document the event and address steps to prevent an actual occurrence.

  28. I think people looked just fine. You're going to be held up for hours and hours, sweating, rushing, drinking, eating, dress comfortably so there's no issues with tight belts making you need to use the bathroom, jackets making you overheat and faint waiting in a hot plane for an hour or more before taxiing for takeoff. It used to be different because flights were on time, you boarded and took off immediately, you landed on time and wasn't forced in to a holding pattern until your plane almost runs out of fuel. It's the airport's fault people dress down because they overbook flights and the number of flights landing and taking off is much greater. It's all about the money. Airports shouldn't mind dressed down passengers because there's less places and pockets to conceal things. And, if the plane crashes, especially in water, you're more likely to survive swimming with freely moving clothes. The Victorian women learned that very quickly with those voluminous death trap dresses they used to wear.

  32. People and their damned dogs. My nephew works for USPS and when he started the delivery route he was attacked by a pit bull. Tore his hand to shreds. He fought it and kept kitting it in the head with his fist because he couldn't get to his bear spray, and it still wouldn't let go until he hit it's nose with all his might. And the owners knew he delivered mail, but let the dog out and they didn't have a fence. Makes me so angry. Now this poor man is dead. The owners need to go to prison for murder.

  50. Kids should have been wearing bulletproof vests for years. It is sad, but, the technology is available to parents, so they need to use it. Now, all schools need emergency locks on schoolroom doors and false walls for safe rooms in every classroom that leads to the outside and is bulletproof. It would not cost that much and parents and kids could help build them. It is horrible what America has come to, it truly is, and America has to make it nearly impossible to buy assault weapons. There's a lot that could be done. Door handles can be electrified by flipping a switch in the office and classrooms, not enough to kill a person, but enough to be a stun gun.
