  5. Maybe, maybe not. I had an aunt and uncle with 4 kids, it's like stop having kids if you can't clean up after them, but he was always gone working and she was not a housekeeper. They'd ask me to babysit, clean their house and kids. After several months I quit doing it as it never got better, just total filth, piles of dirty dishes, clothes, garbage, carpet so dirty it stuck to your feet and maggots filled the garbage piled on the porch because she had no car and didn't drive while he was away. Laziness.

  6. You do have the option of dying the carpet. The red stain, use acetone in a ketchup bottle to saturate just the stain before you shampoo the carpet. Let it set 1 minute, rub with clean towel. Repeat until stain is gone. Works well on oil and ink. Shampoo the carpet following to remove acetone residue.

  7. Laziness doesn't change, but hopefully as the kids get older they'll change. Now she knows someone will clean the mess they'll have someone else clean.

  8. We had 3 children and never was our house or children or cars were dirty. I'd say pure laziness.
