There's a lot of videos about the holding ponds of cow and pig manure runoff, and how when it is too close to food manufacturing plants the foods become infected with ecoli and other nasty things. There's good scientific reasons we don't use offal water on above ground veg like lettuces etc. But i believe if watering the soil and letting it rest a season makes it safe to use.

I wish grandpa and grandma could live forever. Love you π π π all

The yellow cat was eating out of the chicken feed bowl, it wasn't human food. When they prepare their food they cover it.
7
I'm sure watering your veg at planting and not eating it until several months later is fine, it's just using offal water then eating the veg a week later might not be good.
6
If you rub your eggs in grease and store in a co place as soon as they're laid, they will stay good 8 months or more

Mimi and the kitten need wormed, and Tony needs flea dip and wormed. They6such nice animals. Your home is gorgeous with the abundance of food, the lush countryside, and the using of everything around you.

bless the granddaughter. she does almost all the work

4 generations have lived in the house and survived. I'm sure it won't hurt them. Parents are 85, daughter etc are 60s. If a germ was going to get them it already would have.

Nose bleed? High blood pressure?

Little kitten has bowl and bed, very nice. Happy Year of the Dragon

I preserve my eggs by rubbing unwashed just laid eggs with grease. Store in a cool place covered for up to a year. If you have a large crock of cold water, put the eggs in a weighted glass jar with a lid in the crock to keep them cool.

I try to make foods sometimes like they do. I have to try curing meat. I want to make the starch jelly noodles, all kinds of things. I pickled carrots today. We're fortunate to have these videos for history.

You should fry green tomatoes with a corn flour and wheat flour coating, or rice flour. It's very delicious. Very sweet.
1
If you rub grease on your fresh eggs they'll stay good for up to a year

You can use a needle and thread to string your green beans to dry them. store in airtight jars for years and have beans when you need.

Beautiful family, lovely food. I'm learning a lot. Maybe next time make dough sticks barely brown so they're soft.
1
Maine, United States. I love watching you all. I've learned a lot.
1
So much meat. I have to do this.
1
They enjoy staying busy. The daughter takes care of almost everything, and her husband seems to do little.

Happy Easter from Maine United States. Even if you don't celebrate, happy holiday.

One day, make biscuits, 4 cups flour, 1/2 cup lard cut in to the flour until small, and enough milk to make a moist dough. Roll out and cut out rounds and bake under low heat in the greased wok. Makes 24 biscuits. For the gravy cut pork fatback into thin strips and cook until brown in the wok. Remove the pork on to a plate. Remove the lard in the wok except 1/2 cup. Let the grease get hit and add 4 tbs. sugar, salt and pepper. Add the flour and brown while stirring. Add 3 cups hot water to the rue, stir to remove lumps, then add enough milk to make a thick gravy. Simmer until it's as thick as you like. Ladle over the hot buttered biscuits. An easy way to make quick bread, and use your pig lard.

If you would put corn starch or potato starch with the bloody meat water and gel it, the cats would eat it
1
You can eat the broad bean shells, they're good boiled and then coated with butter and garlic. We call them snow peas.
1
I like souce, which is boiled pork head cut or ground into small pieces, then put in a long square bowl with the boiled pig juice. When it cools it has jelled and you can slice it thin for lunch meat on bread. It's very good with a bowl of sliced cucumbers and onions in vinegar and sugar.
1
I love celery. The leaves give a delicate flavour to soups and sandwiches and Pate
1
I love your channel

I forget the dogs name is Tony. He's a wonderful dog. π
1
United States. The fruit looks delicious. I've had it before. I would have had to pick them all and make gallons of jam and juice.
1
I like the new kitchen
1
Maine. United States. I think all the disheslook good. Wholesome, not too spicy. I'd like to make the peanut stew. I use peanut paste or butter with sweet jelly on bread for a sandwich. But, I bet a little spice would be nice.
1
It all looks delicious. Since I can't eat dinner with you, I'll have to cook your food. Thank you for the videos.
1
The food looks delicious. I'll be glad when you build your new airtight kitchen. You all look so cold
1
Melted lard over lettuce or beans with vinegar and sugar is good, add onions.
1
If you want to preserve fresh uncooked eggs, rub a good layer of lard on them, put them in a cool place and they'll keep as good fresh eggs for 6 months to a year.
