I'm sorry, but, no, you don't get to infringe any more on our rights. It stops here, and if I have my way, we'll be repealing the NFA altogether.

Dabbin, the NRA is not pushing for a ban on bump stocks, and if they allow a ban without fighting for us, I'm taking my money from them.

Dabbin, they came out and said that the ATF should review bump stocks against to ensure they meet requirements of the NFA to be sold. Clearly it does meet the requirements. The NRA wasn't in support of legislation, just a review that they knew perfectly well the outcome of.

Dabbin, for that to happen, the law of what makes a machine gun would have to change. Basically, the law specifically states a gun that cycles multiple times with one actuation of the trigger. A bump fire stock mechanically allows for faster actuation of the trigger, but not multiple cycles per trigger pull. Orrr, the BATF will actually have to rule against the law in which case the NRA gets to employ the ILA in the Supreme Court.

Haha, Dabbin, it's always like that after a shooting. A $700 M&P15 doubles in price. They'll come down again in about 3-4 months.

I can't say what will happen. We'll have to wait and see. I always err on the side of liberty. Allow me to have what I feel I need to have in order to defend myself, and everyone else can stay just as crazy and murderous (and even unarmed) as they want to be.

Seriously? Not even a basic Savage bolt-action, huh?

oooh, ok, Dabbin. I get you.

Machine guns are already legal to own. But it makes AR-15 guns have a fire rate more like assault rifles (that is, selective fire rifle safe-semi-auto/burst). The fire rate isn't that much different. You could probably get about 7-8 rounds per second. A fully automatic is about 15 rounds per second.
