  1. Like in wolves, baring teeth, even in what seems like an aggressive snarl, is a welcoming and submissive greeting. The key is always being as knowledgeable as possible and aware of the totality of the circumstances. When in doubt, just assume aggression. You can never go wrong with offering more respect than a situation calls for.
