  4. bary1234 "Bigoted" means you're intolerant of other people's opinions, and you're intolerant toward people holding the opinion that a diety exists, with the stubborn belief that your opinion on the matter is far superior. Bigot according to Oxford: "a person who is intolerant toward those holding different opinions." Not sure where you got your definition from, but it seems to be incorrect.

  5. bary1234 You're compartmentalizing something that can't be compartmentalized. A person's opinion is part of that person, and it's part of what makes up who they are. So if you hate the opinion, you hate that part of the person.

  6. bary1234 I hate analogies because they don't translate properly. This isn't cancer. It's only cancer in your eyes, so the only way the  analogy works is for your opinion. "We are back to the question about superstition being useful. So do you have anything?  Can you name any superstitious belief humanity would miss after its gone?"
