Not only do I see absolutely no evidence showing Rittenhouse recharged the rifle as Grosskreutz claimed made him believe that Rittenhouse was going to shoot him, the evidence is plain that Rittenhouse, when he saw Grosskreutz put up his hands, lowered his rifle and sat there before Grosskreutz decided to aggressively step into Rittenhouse's space and bring the handgun to bear at Rittenhouse.

His hands appear to by by the pistol grip and barrel shroud the entire time. There's no evidence that Rittenhouse was an active shooter, especially not from Grosskreutz's perspective. After Rittenhouse fell, the first person to reach him had Rittenhouse point the rifle at him. That individual put his hands up and backed off. That person was not shot. Grosskreutz surely saw this. After Rittenhouse shot at the man who jump kicked him in the face and Huber who thrusted the end of a skateboard at Rittenhouse's head, Rittenhouse sat up, pointed the gun at Grosskreutz at first, then when he saw Grosskreutz had his hands up, did not shoot, and lowered his weapon, quickly after Grosskreutz brought his hands down, took an aggressive step towards Rittenhouse, and brought his handgun to bear on Rittenhouse.
