  2. This is a bit doom and gloom. Machines will free large swaths of humanity from menial tasks. It's a liberation, not a condemnation.

  3. Why would they need spare change when they have a house, all the food they could want, and services, all provided by the slave labor of machines?

  4. Why would anyone but the people as a whole need to own the machines? It's not an actual person's work you're taking like when you take away private ownership of the means of production. When machines are intelligent enough to automate building and farming tasks, they'll be intelligent enough for self maintenance and self replication.

  5. That's only true if you assume that Marx's and Engels' diatribe must be correct. Like I said, this is not taking private ownership from anyone unlike in Marx's vision of the proletariat revolution. Of course if the majority take something that's not theirs, it's going to be a dark time. That's why I don't prescribe to Marxism. Communism will happen naturally without infringing on basic, natural human rights once the Age of Plenty is reached. If you force it earlier, then it's going to be very, very bad.
