"There's witchcraft in Star Wars now?" > "I'm old enough to remember when blades of super-heated plasma energy actually cause serious and permanent damage to people." > Shows Maul. Jesus. Someone have this guy watch Clone Wars.

"It remained faithful to the source material." uhhhhhhh.... You've never read the books, have you?

@miguelcondadoolivar5149 Yes, a Trade Federation-occupied palace and city, in the middle of a war, and Naboo is a mid-rim planet.

@miguelcondadoolivar5149 He's angry Sabine didn't die when she got stabbed through the torso. Han falls into a pit after being stabbed. Qui Gon was stabbed on a rim world in the middle of nowhere. In short, the latter were far from aid and a bacta tank while the former was stabbed in a civilized area and received immediate evacuation. And my point is that if he should be angry about any BS survival of a lightsaber, it's Maul, who he shows as an example of how he thinks lightsabers should be.

@VisForVindetta Other than the uploading curmudgeon of this video intellectually blackmailing every viewer by saying they have a room-temperature IQ if they like this show, there's no reason to hate on this show. Just the fact that he has to begin by offering a false dichotomy in the opening to either agree with him or be an imbecile pretty much shows he knows that his arguments are garbage. There's no reason to even give this guy's opinion any weight when he doesn't even know about witches and magick in Star Wars, which has been a long and well-established part of G-canon for 15 years now. And he talks about how Sabine should be dead when Anakin lost both legs and an arm and had all of his flesh charred to a crisp and survived. The only thing that's poorly written is Critical Drinker's arguments. Maybe he's smart and doesn't believe his own crappy arguments, instead just pandering for the angry clicks. More power to him then.

@christopherdaub7451 I feel like what makes magick magick is the manipulation of the force alchemically. I don't think that exempts them from channeling the Force without it should they be sufficiently Force sensitive, like Mother Talzin, but I think it's how they found to manipulate the Force even without being Force sensitive.

@adriane.torres2822 How in the world does it not make sense? You can't even explain how it doesn't make sense.
1
@adriane.torres2822 "U dont say" what? What comment is this even replying to?
1
@adriane.torres2822 Can you write a complete thought maybe?
1
@adriane.torres2822 You say "U don't say" and don't even hint at which comment of mine you're replying to. Then you drop only a name, again not referencing which comment it's a reply to, you provide zero explanation for why you're even writing this name, and then you think you can get away with trying to belittle me like I can't think. I could make 10 guesses off the top of my head as to why you brought up that name or what you were saying "U dont say" to, but I'd rather not play a guessing game because you can't be bothered to complete a thought. How about this: If you can't complete a thought, just keep your word salad to yourself.
1
@adriane.torres2822 And again, if you can't say what you mean, keep your word salad to yourself. When you decide that you want to make some sense, feel free to return.
1
@adriane.torres2822 Bro... you're awkward.
1
@adriane.torres2822 So what was your point here? Just to troll? Or did you actually try to argue something?

They have bacta in the Star Wars universe. Anyone who finds any of Critical Drinker's arguments compelling in this video are 1. Not very familiar with Star Wars and/or 2. Easily manipulated into believing him because, "I don't have a room-temperature IQ and the only other option he gave me is to agree with him!"

@holdwhatdoor7629 That's because it is gospel. Clone Wars was and is core canon. It's the only extra-cinema content that was considered core canon by Lucas and by Disney. Everything else outside of that under Lucas would be viewed through the lenses of the movies and Clone Wars. If something in the EU didn't jibe with those sources, the EU was to be presumed incorrect. Filoni actually understands Star Wars--what it is and what it isn't. Star Wars is meant to be poorly written to a degree. It's not trying to be Godfather-level writing. Don't get me wrong, it is cool to see a hint of that in Andor. However, while Andor is Star Wars, it's at the same time not. It's a departure for Star Wars.
