And what about the second student who said CNN did the same thing to him? They're adamant that this isn't just a condensing, but that it's dishonest.

ilmephax, it's not within the power of any person or government to infringe on individual natural rights. This includes the natural right to defend oneself with any tool the individual sees fit.
2
ilmephax, that doesn't make sense. By saying there are no natural rights requires that pre-government or extra-government life doesn't exist. Of course there are natural rights. They're the objective moral reality of being human. Nuclear material is has a latent danger that simply keeping it around is an infringement on the right to life of others. Guns are in no way equivalent to this.

There's a second kid that said they did the same thing to him, and he said it was done dishonestly. It's not just a condensed question according to these two students. There were phone conversations too, and we don't know the context of the emails when taking those calls into account.

This guy needs to fuck off. It's a natural right to arm myself however I see fit. It doesn't matter if I'm the only one, it's my natural right, and you're infringing on it as you already massively have.

Maybe, but this is from the horse's mouth. You don't have to trust Fox. There's a second student that came out about this too.

Only the action of a person can be a danger to children. Again, if there is pre-government and extra-government existence of humans, there are natural rights. Natural rights are what people can do without government. That's inarguable objectivity. A person can take the following to objectively moral actions: Anything that does not infringe on another's natural rights. Government can only make moral law within that same boundary. A government is made of people, and by proxy none of those people who make laws have the legitimate power to use that power to infringe on other's natural rights. Slaves illegitimately and immorally had their rights stripped by a tyrannical government. This is why we freed slaves and made them equal in all natural rights. We're doing the opposite with other natural rights.

ilmephax, yes, they were a tyrannical government for keeping slavery after declaring independence. They knew it too. They made no excuse for it. And at the end of the day, only natural rights matter. Governments will rise, fall and change subjective opinion, but natural rights will never change. They will always remain because they are objective reality.

Every person has natural rights, and they all have a natural right to liberty. That includes within it freedom of movement. All immigration laws should be struck down. Not only do they infringe on natural rights, but they're unconstitutional. Congress is given authorization to legislate only for naturalization, not immigration. The United States survived 75 years without any immigration policies just fine. If you want to drastically cut down on criminal and gang activity, stop with the drug scheduling and enforcement. This is, again, an infringement on the natural rights of the people. I hate how both Conservatives and Democrats in this nation pick and choose natural rights to defend and which to attack. It's sickening.
