@katherinejones850 Because killing is sometimes necessary and for the greater good. Why do you think it's not?
1
@someguy350 No, they literally do not rip bodies apart and turn people into hamburger.
1
@someguy350 I'm a dunce huh? At least I know the difference between something that's a metaphor and something that's literal. I've seen my share of gun violence. Close-up shotgun wounds probably are my least favorite, but I'd argue definitely is the most "hamburger" like. And a 50 caliber what? Because that matters.
1
@someguy350 Being a war vet doesn't mean you were a combat vet. Are you leaning on a fallacious appeal to authority?
1
@someguy350 Oh, by the way, you never answered: A 50 caliber what? There're a lot of 50 calibers in existence.
1
@someguy350 You asked, "You ever seen a .50 cal tear someone limb from limb?" so yes, it matters which .50 caliber round you're talking about.
1
@someguy350 I'm just seeing if you're talking out of your ass. So which .50 caliber round are you talking about?
1
@someguy350 Yeah, that's what I thought.
1
@someguy350 That's every weapon, Zachary...
1
Yeah, I definitely wouldn't recommend shooting a 5.56x45 through a rifle chambered for a .223.
1
Just about every one of them -- especially the predators.
1
Let's see if what you're claiming as an appeal to authority stands up to scrutiny: What are the two types of wounding that occurs with a bullet wound?
1
5.56x45 is an intermediate cartridge that lands between a full-sized cartridge and a pistol cartridge. They're designed to minimize recoil in semi-automatic rifles, which were first chambered for full-sized cartridges, and later automatic rifles.
1
The 5.56x45 wasn't designed to tumble. That was an unintended effect of the short-barrel M4 firing the round at a lower muzzle velocity compared to the M16 so that the round destabilizes in soft tissue rather than passing straight through.
1
Of course they are. Why in the world would you think they're not?
