Close-up shotgun wounds probably are my least favorite, but I'd argue definitely is the most "hamburger" like. And a 50 caliber what? Because that matters.

  13. 5.56x45 is an intermediate cartridge that lands between a full-sized cartridge and a pistol cartridge. They're designed to minimize recoil in semi-automatic rifles, which were first chambered for full-sized cartridges, and later automatic rifles.

  14. The 5.56x45 wasn't designed to tumble. That was an unintended effect of the short-barrel M4 firing the round at a lower muzzle velocity compared to the M16 so that the round destabilizes in soft tissue rather than passing straight through.
