You're wrong about stand-your-ground laws. Stand-your-ground laws exempt you from the responsibility of trying to get away first before being able to use deadly force. Either way, you can still use deadly force.

Gun crime in Canada is on the rise. There are lobbies and propaganda channels pushing for even more gun restrictions. It's what we say time and again: It's a legitimate slippery slope that won't stop until guns are banned. There's no such thing as reasonable legislation. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nn4bPVT1SVI

Gun shows do indeed have background checks. What it comes down to is who you're buying from. If it's a dealer, which gun shows are rife with, then you will have a background check. That'd Federal law, and there's no way around that. If it's a private sale, then no background check is needed. It has nothing to do with gun shows.

When I was in school, we had shooting training in school. This should be a thing, so there would be no question as to who is trained and who isn't. I even did shooting in summer camp.

She says it's not unfair because they have nothing to hide. What if you intend on having an armed rebellion against your government because it's tyrannical?
