Honestly, this was probably the concession his party made to get him to step down from the presidential election. He steps down, he gets to pardon his son. My issue isn't the pardon, per se, but it's the blanket coverage for all crimes over 10 years, including, apparently, murder if there's an as-of-yet discovered act of murder that Hunter committed. I don't care that people get off. I'd rather people not serve time than do--especially on matters I view as natural rights like arms ownership, adult prostitution, and drug usage. These shouldn't be illegal anyway.
