  1. At least someone's finally addressing the elephant (or should I say donkey) in the room. People like the sound of Democrat policy because it's feel-good, but it's just not realistic to implement because people just don't want that policy to negatively impact themselves. This is why center-right policy -- e.g. school vouchers -- makes the most sense: It's realistic and workable policy. However, I'm sick of hearing about wealth taxes. It doesn't make sense to continually tax money that's already been taxed, and it doesn't make sense to tax perceived value of items, like corporate baseball cards (stocks) that haven't yet actually been sold. Yes, they can get loans against the value of their stock. They have to pay that principle back plus interest using income that is taxed, so whatever they borrow, they're paying taxes on because they need liquid assets to pay it back. Taxes are also paid on that interest that's paid. It's in no way a way to avoid taxes. plement because people just don't want that policy to negatively impact themselves. This is why center-right policy makes the most sense, because it's realistic.
