  1. One correction for Tony: Even if the Second Amendment were nullified by a new constitutional amendment, the right would still be protected. In the landmark Supreme Court case US v. Cruikshank, the court held the opinion, "The right to bear arms is not granted by the Constitution; neither is it in any manner dependent upon that instrument for its existence."

  2. "Well in the states a lot of them had licenses, too." No. They didn't have licenses. I'm not even sure what she's talking about here. There're no "licenses" for ownership here in the US.
