  1. It is not for you -- or anyone -- to say how, when and with what capacity another has a right to defend myself. This is an example of the human desire to dominate himself. The defense of oneself and his family is a right given by nature to every living thing in existence. Consider this -- if guns are not the answer -- why do you think that these people are choosing to go to an elementary school, theater or college to commit their murders? Why not a shooting range or police station?

This included many members of Parliament who were then replaced by NSDAP who gained majority and allowed Hitler to complete his rise to totalitarian dictatorship power.

  3. Let's take your country as an example. Let's say that a Nazi regime repeats itself -- for whatever reason, it doesn't matter -- how will the people have the power to fight against it? There is no correlation between number of guns/stringent gun laws and gun murder rates.

  5. What makes you think that a government is incapable of becoming a tyranny? I can cite precedent for being wary against tyranny until my fingers cramp, but what makes you think that the past is suddenly incapable of repeating itself?
