  6. No, it's already lost. This was a war of choice that became an attritional war Russia can't afford in the medium to long run. The reputational damage to putin and the Russian military has been immense. Strategically, Russia has already lost the war. Peter Zeihan is right, this is the last hurrah for Russian conventional military power.
