Also should be mentioned: convenience store coffee in Japan is great too. 7-11 and FamilyMart tired for first. The flavor is pretty much as good as major coffee chains but it only costs and only 100¥. (Stopped going to Starbucks years ago.)

Ah ‘Konbini’ snacks, the bane of my existence. But Chris, I think you need to report back about that ‘sleep chocolate’. I’ve always assumed it’s kind of a scam but I’m still really curious. Let us know if it works!

@killinglonliness88 That ‘nasty-ass’ black plain stuff is what I call coffee. What you’re talking about I call “desert”. That said, for 150¥ you can get cafe late, which is quite delicious. (High-fat milk, because Japan.)

@DrJustininJapan 確かに, that ‘double espresso latte’ thing is pretty awesome. But for the 100¥ option, I’ll stick with my initial statement. 😆 (BTW if the the topic was beer selection, Lawson would definitely get my vote.)
