  1. An interesting note from history/mythology... Saga prefecture is one of the two possible locations for the original “Yamatai Empire”, the domain of Sorceress-Empress Himiko — look it up if you don’t know, it’s fascinating stuff! (The other probable location is in or near Nara, the area where I live. Of course, we think our claim is stronger. 😆)
