And after it opening , the severe Kobe earthquake struck the bridge directly, the epicenter of the quake was the point on the fault in the middle of the bridge. The bridge has no damage even the quake moved the bridge tower several meters from the origin and it is in operation till today.

Any items like this such Petronas tower in Malaysia , Burj Kalifa Dubai , HK ILFC rtc. All were failed in view of real income to fund invest ratio. But they still are alived because their owner pay huge money.
