  1. Do you think Toyota has been doing good in Europe? No, it doesn't. Because European has long history of their own cars and its market are adhere to itself brands. So , the Europe cars market for China brands are not in China auto makers vision. The same as American auto market. China sees the market as the patron of US's vassal states such as Korean and Japanese cars , additionally ,the new member , Vietnam car. So , the Russian auto market is in Chinese auto industry's favor.

But why do they have to be your underling whenever they can make use other large country's resource and market such China in competing with you. You may not know that American govt gave Japan many logistics material and weapons knowhow befeore WWII and they instigated them to open Asia Pacific war because American was insatisfactory that most Asia then were colonized under European influenced and benefits while American who came late got bare hands.

But it want to know clearly the Russian space approach. Consider SpaceX ,they're more advance than the Russian. Shuttle has design flaw base on it military influence doas not mean the American aren't capable. But Soviet knew what the real purpose of American shuttle. It is not a peace program as it hoaxed out. So when you frequently used it in several civil programs , its flaw finally broke out.

What China govt had in the process just bargaining with manufacturers in last final round on purchasing agreement with Boeing or Airbus because they hold all amount of planes order in hand(they know how much AIrbus or Boeing planes each airlines send them requirement).

So it has planned some future base economics for the Korea in weapons industry while the car manufacturer will be shifted to the new vassal , the Vietnam , Vinfast instead. By the way , Korea itself is not average talent people. So the US has to put effort in giving it industry tecnology and signalling its other vassal states in helping transfer technology to South Korea such as Germany in submarine and tank engines and France in helicopter manufacturing. However , only German's help is deemed to be success ,as South Korea has scored some sale orders in tank and submarine. For the American tech helping directly , Korea can sell trainer fighter jets by effort struggling on finding the orders of Lockheed Martin who has directly been assigned to help South Korea in the issue and act like a broker for Korea. So Korean trainer jets can find some orders from Southeast Asia and even the Poland who is the White but has been succumbed to promote Korea under the US guideline order.
