  1. UK has the King, also it has the remnant of the British Empire, Commonwealth of Nations. Latest month, the England King went to open Canada parliament ceremony. The last German's King fled to the Swiss after German lost in WWI. UK is the only one of the two countries that can produce big jet engines which are the crown of jewel on mechanical engineering. So DW German cannot look up to it.
