  1. This host is shallow. Russia is in no need to blow the pipe. They just shut the valve on shore and it is that. But if the pipe is blown out , it presents that someone suspicious of Germany hiding gas import from Russia backdoor. So they blew it off. By the way , Russia does not aware of violations of the contract because when customers don't pay , they have the right to stop sending gas. So , a bad guy who blew the pipe easily points to US or UK. This DW only serves the Anglo's interest rather than the German.
