  1. I don't think so. Considering the big recession in 1929. US dollars is not well known and didn't being use as medium currency. Hence they can't evade the economics downturn. But as today US dollars has been printed at will. So any sign of recession happend , they will hastily print it to cover their risk. And outside World economics who holds dollars will be one who suffer instead.
