  1. As a plain BMW engine , it always needs more headache maintenance than a Japanese car already. By adding more complex parts , I suggest you buy an aeroplane engine.

  2. This adds more intermittent movement part to the engine. There are 2 piston rods. on to crank, another to the bearing shaft

  3. Shock by impact between the crown piston and shoulder piston each cycle would make it crack in short lifetime.

  4. Seems to be just a piston engine with a pressure accumulator. The big problem is how to control each burning steadily throughout the run.
