  2. @charlesburgoyne-probyn6044  odd curveball, if the Austrian painter had won, Turkey probably would have still be a good source of guestworkers. The country was in good standing with the axis etc and the austrian painter wouldnt have had the complrx forefight to see its perils.

Saitama region outside tokyo has a new Kurdish refugee community, they arrive on Turkish passports as tourists then launch infinate asylum appeals, the men who work do demolishion work and drive dangerously, in Tokyo there is a big indian community in Edogawa, they refuse to intergrate and seem not the least bit interest in their host culture. It feels like 1980s Sweden. However asian people arent brainwashed by western christian ideals of charity, and when the time comes they will deal with it.

The funniest thing is constantly seeing on NHK World Japan documentaries about foreign workers in Japan, countless Nepalis and Vietnamese doing diplomas in 'hotel management' which appears to be an easy way to get foreign workers in on the sly. At least the vietnamese blend in well and come from east asia.
