  12. Tactically leaving is better than the Mariupol defenders’ “successful evacuation” into Russian prison camps. Robotyne is a tiny village in the gray zone that Russia expected to lose in the first week of the offense. It’s been 3 months and Ukraine only now just barely got to the starting line in which they had to resort to using their final offensive reserve with the 82nd brigade. The offensive is over and they didn’t even cross the 1st defensive belt.

  13. Ukraine blew their load on so many missiles and the only one that got through hit a small missile frigate that can easily be replaced. Russia is learning from its mistakes.

  19.  @iwh7  obviously, Russia would prefer not to lose the ships, and yes, there is significant cost to replace them. But compare that to wartime economy equation that NATO only has a limited number of long range missiles in stock, so every time Ukraine fires one, it’s a missile gone for good. The AFU needs to be much more discerning on its targets than just PR stunts.
