The motivation of US Military spending is not to win wars. It’s to raise profits and protect jobs in some Senator’s district. They want high tech weaponry that costs a fortune to design, produce, and maintain. America can outspend anyone on defense, but most of it goes to exec Lambos and Congressional coffers. While Russian and Chinese defense spending may seem lower, they’re not going to run out of ammo.

Started with Russia? Did you forget Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya, Syria, Yugoslavia, etc? The current (and fantasized) wars with Russia, Middle East, and China has whose fingerprints on them? What is the common denominator? Who is really the irrational party?

@Jensth do peace colleges exist?

@Dogman262 sure it is.

China did it, which is why Xi could lift hundreds of millions (more than the population of the US) out of poverty. They have high spreed rail all over the nation, while the US has zero inches. Nothing is preventing anyone here from seeing it themselves other than their own bigotries.

@kavky are there any famous peace colleges?

@kavky should it trouble you if you find the question to be a joke?

@roadent217 don’t you find it troubling that we even need to ask?

@baileygregory9192 how to avoid war. Pretty useful, no?

@roadent217 they make plenty of those weapons too. What do you think wars are fought with? It’s the collective west that has been demilitarized. All those sexy, high tech weapons, and they’re useless in a real war.

@2hotflavored666 how are they worse?
