Crimea was annexed in 2014. The Kerch Bridge was completed in 2018. That means Crimea survived for years without a bridge to Russia. And now that the land bridge is in place, the Kerch bridge is no longer vital. They even show it in this video.

Russia is already building rail lines on the land bridge to Crimea. The Kerch bridge being a gamechanger is over.
7
Ukraine isn't deteriorating anything from Russia. It's Russia that has ended up de-militarizing NATO/Ukraine.
6
@Gwyrddu Ukraine had a net loss in its failed offensive, which has ended. Russia has clearly encircled Avdiivka and is a repeat of Bakhmut and Mariupol. Trying to spin this as a Russian loss is coping at the highest order.
5
and where is this graph you speak of? Ukraine is nowhere near parity in anything with Russia. That's not even mentioning that Ukraine has no Air Force or Navy.
4
@Gwyrddu How's that Ukraine grand, Spring Offensive going? You're mentioning the Avdiivka Bakhmut Meatgrinder 2? Those AFU in Avdiivka are encircled and about to be crushed, if they don't retreat.
3
@Gwyrddu on the offensive, Russia has a net gain of territory in the North, which the Western MSM chooses to ignore. And Avdiivka is shaping up to be another Bakhmut and Mariupol encirclement, which always leads to the obliteration of AFU forces.
3
Up next will be the Gundams. That'll turn the tide for sure!
2
@paxundpeace9970 What logistics and storage are you talking about? What new jets and tanks? And where will the money keep coming from?
2
That’s always the excuse, isn’t it? You’re only 1 gamechanging wonder weapon away? So let’s get it all over with in one package; what would you include in it?
2
@sababugs1125 at $33+ trillion in debt, what constitutes as "out of money?"
2
@Gwyrddu regardless, Avdiivka will follow the same fate as Bakhmut and Mariupol. It doesn’t take a genius to see on a map. It’s the same hopium you have that leads those defenders into the same outcomes over and over.
1
So, when will this great tactic start working with no air support and artillery disadvantage?
1
Sad thing is, Russia was on defense and they still got a net gain of territory in the AFU's offensive.
1
They just need some more gamechanging wonder weapons and $10 billion more. You’re so close!
1
@ghostmourn no, a stalemate would imply that Russia cannot have escalatory dominance. Russia still has many cards to play.
1
@corey8420 they tried already in the grand, Spring offensive and got wiped out. There’s nothing left.
1
@amritpalsingh3293 so then the West is an active participant in this war?
1
Black Sea is a distraction. Even with all these strikes, what does Ukraine accomplish? It has no Navy to contest the Russian fleet and anything happening in the way rear of Crimea has hardly any effect on the frontlines.
1
@sababugs1125 so, not a problem then?
1
How is it a stalemate? Russia was clearly on the defensive behind the formidable Surovikin Line. It was the AFU that broadcast to the world their grand, Spring Offensive. By the lines not moving an inch, then demonstrates a defensive win by the Russians, and a humiliating defeat of the AFU. Now that Russia is solidifying the land bridge to Crimea, the Kerch bridge is just icing on the cake.
