  1. Simply put, the Ukrainians advanced so quickly because Russians were not there. They are good at punching air, but when they meet actual Russian resistance, they get slaughtered. Russia will give up disadvantaged ground, but Ukraine will stand their ground, even if it ends up like Mariupol.

  3.  @safe-keeper1042  there’s no real point to these map gains since Ukraine can’t hope to keep them, especially since Russia is about to send 300,000 reinforcements. Do you honestly think Ukraine has any more left on the tank to retake all the land they lost after the massive casualties they’ve suffered?
