  6.  @unduloid  they don’t blatantly invade. They either pay off the leaders of a country to join (Finland) or they stage a coup to get the leaders they want (Maidan 2014). Russians are just more direct.

  15.  @enpakeksi765  I guess we’ll never know, since NATO is not democratic. And NATO has a responsibility to decline new members. It’s not like they are helpless to stop people from entering. The world becomes more dangerous the closer NATO gets to Russia.

  16.  @enpakeksi765  NATO has every ability to prevent membership, as they are with Ukraine. And what common sense does a world become safer the closer 2 nuclear adversaries get? NATO expanded the most when Russia was at its weakest point and the closer they get, the less response time they have to call off a nuke.
