Considering it’s Ukraine land being destroyed, their population fleeing or being conscripted, and their nation being propped up by Western aid…it’s a no brained Ukraine loses in a long war.

@DeclanMBrennan different cases. Ask Georgia and Chechnya. If Russia wants to win a war, it can, especially on its border.

@KhanhNguyen-mh5ec why should Putin try to impress either of them? If he thinks a slow grind works best, that’s what he’ll do. It’s what he does in Georgia, Chechnya, Syria, etc. Maybe it’s slow and frustrating to the outside observer, but it gets results. If you fight a war for PR, you get a disaster like this failed AFU great spring counteroffensive.
