Comments by "" (@ericp1139) on "Are Russian gains in Ukraine worth the costs so far?" video.
Azerbijan didn't ignore the Kremlin. Pashinyan openly said Nagorno-Karabakh belongs to Azerbijan, so Azerbijan obliged. You already know nothing of Russia, so it's best you don't expand into other things you know nothing about.
13
Where are you getting those numbers?
8
No Russian said "Kiev in 3 days." It was US Gen. Milley who said that. Russia has liberated 4 regions, completed a land bridge to Crimea, de-militarized NATO/AFU, in the process of de-Nazifying Ukraine, and circumvented Western sanctions. Seems like a good measure of gains.
6
@SvalbardSleeperDistrict read above. Pashinyan publicly relinquished Nagorno to Azerbaijan, so Azerbaijan obliged. Russia prevented a massive war between the 2. They did their jobs.
5
Really. Where did you get those numbers from?
5
@@apsoypike1956 Found the Peter Zeihan fan.
5
In Russia's case, a win is a win.
4
Who is making that determination? You?
4
Short answer: Yes
4
Help me buy more homes!
3
@TransoceanicOutreach The Russian economy has not suffered. The Western nations are entering recessions.
3
@foilhat1138 You are ignoring what we are telling you. Pashinyan publicly GAVE UP Nagorno. Did you expect Russia to wage a war against both Armenia and Azerbijan?
3
@foilhat1138 There is no current war now. And if Nagorno is a failure, the Israel/Gaza is a failure of US foreign power.
3
Ok, NAFObot.
3
They are currently rebuilding Mariupol and it's looking great. And they're constructing a rail line in their land bridge to Crimea, which makes the Kerch bridge redundant.
3
@highjumpstudios2384 so why aren’t they being sent to Ukraine to win?
2
@BorntoYeet you can type in the publication or exact quote and I can search it.
2
@BorntoYeet how is what I said cope? What is untrue?
2
So when are the sanctions supposed to start working?
2
Peter Zeihan, is that you?
2
@daffyduck780 and what does that interest rate mean?
2
@daffyduck780 only Finland. Which only proves Russia's accusations of persistent NATO expansionism and vindicated their decision to stop Ukraine.
2
@scottd7761 Russia is in control of all the wars. But in this case, I’m obviously discussing Azerbaijan and Armenia. How’s that war going?
2
@scottd7761 still evading my question, I see.
2
@arthas640 Pashinyan gave the territory up. What did you want Russia to do?
2
In what way is Russia losing?
2
Ukraine will cease to exist.
2
@foilhat1138 Tell that to Yugoslavia, Libya, Syria, Afghanistan, Iraq...
2
So what does that make Zelensky?
1
@commandershortsight Russia gained 4 regions with most of the natural resources and industrial core, they've completed a land bridge to Crimea, they've de-militarized NATO/AFU, and they've bypassed Western sanctions. For starters.
1
Pashinyan publicly declared that Nagorno belongs to Azerbijan. What did you expect Russia to do about it?
1
You watch too much Peter Zeihan.
1
But they did take the Donbas...
1
Do Turkey, Hungary, Slovakia, and Poland agree with your statement?
1
Peter Zeihan, is that you?
1
@toomuchtimeonourhands2891 a long time, eh? So when can we expect Russia to collapse from said demographic catastrophe? Will Ukraine survive that long? Will they not have their own demographic problem? What of the West?
1
@teddy.d174 Ukraine actively celebrates Banderists.
1
@scottd7761 well, is there currently a war going on there now?
1
@scottd7761 I am asking, how is that war going?
1
@scottd7761 it’s quite relevant. You refuse to answer because you can sense that I am about to checkmate you. There is no current war between Azerbaijan and Armenia. Which means Russia constantly played the role of keeping the peace.
1
@scottd7761 as I’ve said, Pashinyan publicly said Nagorno belongs to Azerbaijan, so Azerbaijan obliged. And there is no current war. Russia was successful in its role. What did you expect Russia to do?
1
@radicalxg8282 more like they see Russia as a powerhouse that is singlehandedly taking on NATO.
1
@SvalbardSleeperDistrict What Peskov tale? You haven't demonstrated that Russia failed in anything.
1
@foilhat1138 seems to me, Israel is committing a genocide under a war the US failed to prevent, and failed as a peacekeeper. Unlike Russia’s success in peace.
1
That's how they circumvented sanctions. How is that bad for them?
1
In what ways has Russia lost this war?
1
@scottryals3191 Ukraine is not in NATO
1
@fabriciomarques8663 so then where?
1
@arthas640 oh, hello, Peter Zeihan.
1
@croatorum9565 then how embarrassing Russia is defeating all those big GDP nations as they try to team up?
1
The biggest winning move is for Russia to keep constricting Ukraine until they capitulate. Why does Russia need to make any concessions?
1
@f-35lightningii6 uh, where are you getting the casualty figures from? The Russian active military is 1.1 million, so if we go by your numbers, then Russia should no longer have an army. Then who is Ukraine fighting?
1
It's a war to prevent Ukraine from joining NATO.
1
I love the NAFObots rushing into the comments. NATO/AFU is losing and nothing will change it.
1
@SergioFlorente it's 2023. That narrative is from 2022.
1
They are getting their figures from the Ghost of Kyiv.
1
They keep their naval base. How is that a loss?
1
@mattBLACKpunk so what were you saying about cost/benefit?
1
Finland and Sweden were always unofficial NATO. How do you think Finland was fast tracked in? Russia was vindicated to block Ukraine from dreaming of membership.
1
@TransoceanicOutreach where are you getting your numbers? Then you have to accept that Ukraine has lost 1 million men.
1
When did Putin ever say that? Source?
1
@TransoceanicOutreach Yes, that is how Russia starts their diplomatic talks. How many units did Russia send that day?
1
@macgonzo what does that have to do with the topic? Did you really think that small force was enough to seize all of Ukraine?
1
@iggyzeta9755 Peter zeihan appreciates your book purchase.
1
@@apsoypike1956 Russia is not the one using “stalemate.” That is a West/Zalhuzny term. Russia refers to themselves as “winning.”
1
@stark5353 and Ukrainians are banned from leaving Ukraine.
1
@tilenjeraj2684 do you have any evidenced of what you said?
1
@@apsoypike1956 I think they are sticking to facts.
1
@tilenjeraj2684 ok, sure.
1
@@apsoypike1956 yup. Ukraine is a proxy of NATO, which is essentially the US. If the US stops sending aid, how long do you think Ukraine will stand?
1
And now Ukraine is paying the heavy price.
