You’re just inserting your own politics into this situation. There are a myriad of reasons for the low ratings besides wokeness, like a global pandemic and more competition from online content. The decline in ratings have happened for years, yet, studio profits have risen. Boredom of an awards show should not be conflated with protest against Hollywood. You’re just projecting your own biases; why are you more qualified to pontificate than an actor?
