  1. How is it desperation? The hypersonic missiles cannot be intercepted, so it's an obvious weapon to hit something of high value with high degree of certainty of success.

  3. GDP is just an arbitrary metric that doesn't mean much. Russia is it's direct neighbor with cheap commodities, so that needs to be figured into the equation.

  7.  @FieryCheeze  The 3 day operation achieved what it set out to do: get Zelensky to the negotiating table. But too bad for the world that he and NATO had their fingers crossed and decided to fight this war they are currently in, because they mistook Russia as weak. And the US has not fought against any near-peer since 1991. They have only selectively fought when they knew they had overwhelming advantage. And even then, they lost, because they had no clearly defined objectives for victory.
