It’s about reaching peace, just as Russia brokered a peace between Syria and Turkey. It may be a foreign concept to Westerners, but war =\= peace.

What are you talking about? It is Russia that is brokering the peace just as they’ve grown closer to Turkey. The West has nothing to do with peace, as it is they who want another proxy conflict.

How is the West involved at all in this peace? Russia brokered peace between Syria and Turkey. China brokered peace between the Saudis and Iran. The West has achieved nothing towards peace anywhere.

@MegrelMamba 20% of a country is still a lot. The area is bigger than a lot of European countries combined. And besides, Putin said west Ukraine belongs to Poland.

@MegrelMamba even Poland agrees that West Ukraine belongs to Poland. If I were Ukraine, I’d be very worried about my neighbor to the West. Perhaps they will send in a “peacekeeping” force for “safe keeping?”

@MegrelMamba oh, the politicians would never say it openly. But I’m sure the Poles yearn for their historic lands back. I wouldn’t be surprised if even more Polish fighters entered Ukraine as “friends.”
