Your statement might have been correct last year. But the Russian war machine takes a long time to start up, but once it does, it’s a steamroller. And NATO fired up Russia’s war machine.

@ad_astra468 an Iskander wiped out that NATO pizza party. Geran and Lancet drones are wiping out your Leopards, M777, and HIMARS. Kinzhals are wiping out your Patriots. Tornado S systems are wiping out ammo depots. Also, Russia spent its efforts solidifying their defense, and haven’t decided to go on any major offensives. Conquering Bakhmut was just a Wagner side project.

@NurBull Russia keeps them in reserve in case NATO tries to enter the fray. Russia doesn’t need to go full force to defeat Ukraine. Originally, Putin was hoping someone would sit down and negotiate, but since nobody would, he has decided to slowly crank up the heat.

@NurBull if all of Russia’s forces were in Ukraine, then Ukraine would be a smoldering heap of ash. As it stands, Russia likely on has committed 10-20% of its strength. If what you say is true, then why doesn’t NATO just attack Russia now?

@NurBull the Russian army and Akhmat had Wagner surrounded in Rostov. They were also in standby in Moscow. And from the looks of how Putin and Prigozhin are still hanging out, it looks like it might’ve just been a psyop.

@BeaverZer0 it’s not perfect, but the effectiveness of the HIMARS has been greatly reduced. Just like how Russian equivalents the Tornado S are wiping out Ukrainian targets in the rear. And there are videos of HIMARS getting hit by drones. Face it, Trevor, the HIMARS wasn’t the gamechanging wonder weapon.

Russia has the best air defense. And Ukraine inherited a lot of Soviet air defense. Air power will be nullified and a war with Russia will be exactly like the trenches you see. Are the summer children of NATO ready for that kind of warfare?
