Ukraine has zero air support and operate at a severe artillery disadvantage. I don’t care how good those tanks are, they are going to be 1 time use.

@cantinadudes why would it be a tank versus tank battle in real war? Most tanks are taken out by anti-tank weapons, air strikes, mines, etc. It’s not common to have a Hollywood tank battle.
3
@dpelpal when’s the last time you heard about the javelins? Weren’t they the original “game changing” wonder weapon?
2
Crews that relied on a crash course, no air support, and no logistics tail? These tanks will be 1 time use.
2
@samfetter2968 Kharkiv offensive was against nobody. Russians had already withdrawn.
2
@truth2774 How long do you want them to take to siege a fortress, considering it took NATO 8 years to build it up? And why should they go by your timetable? Mosul took the US around the same amount of time to "liberate" as well. And how are they doing this with shovels, washing machines, and unarmed convicts? In 7 months, shouldn't the AFU be able to march into Moscow by now, if the Russians are as ill-equipped as you say?
2
@bjorndebar8361 Sure. But artillery that hits things are useful.
1
@greengarnish1711 where will AFU get all that? They can’t even match Russia output.
1
@ashleygoggs5679 it wasn’t a feint. It was simply knowing that most Russian mercenary contracts were due to expire and they knew that was the perfect time to strike when Russian manpower was at its weakest.
1
@varyolla435 and how will these wonder weapon tanks be maintained?
1
@richardcowling7381 I will bet against that. Either the tanks stay in West Ukraine or they end up as Russian trophies.
1
@richardcowling7381 what kit was left behind? If so much was left behind, then why is Ukraine begging for more weapons? Russians don’t stay behind to get slaughtered or captured like in Mariupol or Bakhmut.
1
@ashleygoggs5679 is there proof that they moved anything to Kherson? That’s on the total opposite end of the battle field. And they decided to withdraw to the other side of the river there too. The contracts were up and the Russians just didn’t have the manpower to defend such a big line. But now that they have the 300K+ mobilization, that won’t happen again.
1
@bjorndebar8361 so, if they get damaged, they have to get sent all the way back to Poland. You think that’s just fine?
1
@jwil6902 Ukraine destroyed thousands of tanks? And yet, Ukraine is still begging for more tanks? How is the math adding up?
1
@bjorndebar8361 This isn't a computer game. Things don't just re-spawn on the battlefield.
1
@ashleygoggs5679 Just look at a map. Kharkiv and Kherson are on total opposite ends of the battlefield.
1
@bjorndebar8361 If a tank gets damaged, it needs to be hauled all the way back to Poland. Look at a map and tell me how that's going to work out? You gonna send a tow truck?
1
@bjorndebar8361 Ukrainians aren’t some mythical repairmen. They still need parts that aren’t readily available and maintenance training that takes months. You make it sound like they have magic powers.
1
@thanemlesstrue-arrow5724 how are they hurting? The ruble is at all time highs, their GDP is expected to grow thus year, war production is far outpacing the West, etc. Your sanctions totally backfired.
1
@truth2774 so then what are all those Russian things in the sky? If they are losing them all the time, then how many do they have?
1
@ashleygoggs5679 no point for you to keep arguing. Russians were short handed, especially after the expiring contracts. Even if they shifted troops for a ruse, they didn’t have enough manpower to hold such a large defensive line in either Kherson or Kharkiv. And Kharkiv was especially difficult to hold because it has a lot of open land. Kyiv will find this out the hard way.
1
@bjorndebar8361 where are all these spare parts? And you realize Leopards, Challengers, and Abrams all use different parts? NATO could barely send the tanks themselves. And they’ve admitted they’re out of ammo. And is there a magic tow truck or supply line that you know of that I don’t?
1
@truth2774 like I said, then what are all those Russian planes flying out there every day? If they’re all getting shot down, then how many do they have?
1
@truth2774 lol, didn’t you all say Russia would be out of ammo since last March? When’s your next prediction of that happening? So what are the Ruskies fighting with in Bakhmut and Avdiivla? Shovels and washing machines?
1
@truth2774 So what are the Ruskies fighting with in Bakhmut and Avdiivla? Shovels and washing machines?
1
@truth2774 so, unarmed prisoners and restrained artillery fire is defeating Bakhmut and Avdiivka? What does that say about Ukraine and it’s NATO support?
1
The tide sure has turned a lot.
