  1. If the US truly knew of the mutiny ahead of time, then it was extremely reckless not to have alerted Putin, especially if they were as concerned about the nuclear arsenal as they claim to be. Prigozhin lost his mind after his victory in Bakhmut and would be a nightmare if he had access to nukes. And if the US really knew about the "coup," then why didn't Ukraine try to take advantage of it on the battlefield?

  3. The deal with Lukashenko was likely fleshed out ahead of time. Otherwise, if they came up with this deal on the fly, then it looks bad on NATO/Ukraine for not being able to make peace with Putin.
