  1. This recruiting drive should have happened during episode 8. There’s not enough time to cram all this into the final entry. The new trilogy should have been the fledgling New Republic, the remnants of the Empire, and the Hutt cartel+Black Sun (moving in to fill the power void) in a 3-way war for the galaxy. I’m sick and tired of the Rebels vs Empire thing.

  2. If anything, the Hutts should have had a larger presence in episode 7. After the Empire was vanquished, there’s be a power vacuum that the Hutts would be more than happy to exploit.
