  1. Why is corporate media so concerned about the environment all of a sudden? Blockchain uses energy arbitrage by going to sources of cheap power. Most of it is capturing excess energy that would have gone to waste or renewables. They aren’t usually producing energy to power blockchain directly.

  2.  @preyisgay  the rigs are portable. If it’s no longer feasible to mine in an area, they pack up and move somewhere else. Like in America, where they set up at gas flaring sites. Miners don’t want energy produced to mine Bitcoin, they want to collect where energy is being wasted.
