  1. Trump had months to “be right.” Congress was asking what number he wouldn’t veto, but he stayed silent. It wasn’t until the 11th hour that Trump comes in trying to look like a hero. The truth is, if Congress originally went with $2,000 he would have demanded $3,000. Don’t fall for it.

  2. Dispensing money simply by income is stupid. Zuckerberg only makes a $1 salary, so he would still qualify. Or you’d need an agency dedicated to judging who is poor enough to receive aid, which slows the process even more.

  3. Foreign aid is a diplomatic tool. That’s why China has been beating the West with its 1 Belt 1 Road initiative. Also, foreign aid is something that, you know, fights and prevents pandemics?

  4.  @JayWZeroNine  Trump had months to get involved, but he was too busy golfing. His own Treasury Secretary was working with Congress to pass this deal. Trump is only blocking it now because he craves attention and wants to further his false myth of being a great deal maker.
