To put it another way, if Russia/China overthrew the Mexican government and for 8 years armed and trained the military at the US border, how do you think the US would act?   37.  @pittsfieldbeast  in the beginning, it was Republic militias and mercenaries fighting, so the Russian side was outnumbered. Russia may have a bigger size, but they haven’t been mobilized to move into Ukraine until recently. AFU was fighting its heart out against basically a Russian expeditionary force last year.
