  2. Be sure they don’t buy a cheap throwaway smart phone and load a prepaid phone/text/data card. Do not to allow them unsupervised internet access, lock your wireless router hub and monitor it for any unauthorized devices logged in. My sisters check on this for their kids. They are allowed an analog emergency cell phone at age 10, that’s it.

  3. You raised them right. I grew up in the People’s Democratic Friendship of California in the ‘80s and the ‘90s, so many horrible schools and messed up kids in them. My siblings and I went to a good public school district from K-8. Of course, in that era “a good public school district” meant graduating with three bullet wounds or less. My sisters and I were sent to an all girl Catholic school thanks to my oldest sister dating all of those hooligans. Our brothers went to the local public high school. You raised your kids right, and I agree with you about Ireland. Heck, we have a WEF Puppet Dictatorship in the USA. “School promotes Socialization” is such an antiquated concept, kids can still socialize if you hang out with the correct people and discreetly monitor them and the company they keep. They get the worst socialization from other kids at school, usually by bullies and junkies who are forced to be there by law.

  5. That’s pretty messed up, my sympathies. One kid got abducted or run over, every kid paid the price. In the ‘80s, my twin brother and I couldn’t go outside without adult supervision when we were little, because of the serial killer scare where we lived. We sneaked out anyway.

  6. But as time went on, our incompetent schools and corrupt authority figures sided with the bullies and punished those who fought back.

  8. For me, if I ever had kids I wouldn’t allow a smartphone until they were at least 18. I would allow internet access, but NO SOCIAL MEDIA accounts. There would be monitoring and limitations of internet use. My sisters did that with their kids, and they turned out fine.
