  1. 1. Quit piling on all of the homework and tests. It doesn’t teach them anything but to hate school and to hate learning. 2. Allow teachers to teach without top heavy school administrations micromanaging them. 3. Encouraging reading, “Silent Sustained Reading” hours in class, etc. from a young age. Bookmobiles, book fairs, and other events need to come back. 4. Stop forcing teachers to use outdated educational methods. Our workplaces don’t resemble factories anymore, so neither should classrooms.
