  1. When I was in NYC, back in ‘07, this one dance company had a ballerina who was male-to-female trans, pre op. She stayed out of the ladies’ locker room and toilets, kept a low profile, the directors and instructors generally left her alone. Some of the other ballerinas and a few of the more vindictive teachers/directors instigated harassing her. They called her hateful names, some even grabbed her between the legs at the gusset of her leotard and would yell “A-HAAAA!” followed by fake gasps and such. I and a few other dancers as well as one teacher and one director stepped in to defend her, we got in trouble for it and eventually fired. But it was worth it to stand up for a friend, I wish her well wherever she is now. My sympathies and best wishes to you, as well.

  3. My siblings and I were always told by our parents to fight back. When the simpering p in he ad faculty of the school would punish us yet give the bullies diplomatic immunity, our family lawyer would be down there to hit the school with a lawsuit. Miraculously, our punishments were waived and the bullies got punished. When their families complained, the school told them to “stuff it”, and if they tried to hassle our family, our family lawyer was there to threaten them with a lawsuit. It was beautiful. My sympathies for you, though. It’s all about control and making kids grow up to be obedient little workers. Standing up to bullies upsets that agenda for those megalomaniacal tin dictators.

  6. They punish kids for standing up to bullies, stating “You should have reported it!”. Now the stupid schools are punishing bullying victims for reporting bullying. Let the bullying victims fight back. However, $10 million is too much just in this case, it’s not like the kid was unjustly assaulted by police. I bet the kid and his family won’t even see $10 if they were to win, the race hustlers will take the rest.
