Consider the following:
Science tells us that we have billions of neurons and trillions of neuronal connections in our brain. So, how exactly does the energy signal 'know' where and when to start, what path to take, and where and when to stop to form even a single coherent thought?
Utilizing the following analogy: Spread a brain out like a map with the neurons being represented by towns and cities, the interconnections between the neurons being represented by roads and highways, and a single coherent thought being represented by a vehicle moving between one or more towns and/or cities.
So, how exactly would the vehicle 'know' where and when to start, what path to take, and where and when to stop to form a single coherent trip? A higher intelligence would have to tell it those things.
So, what exactly is the 'higher intelligence' behind our very thoughts? And if our thoughts are thought before we consciously think our own thoughts, then how could we ever consciously think our own thoughts? Just to consciously think thoughts that are already thought? And how exactly would the 'higher intelligence' even think thoughts? Does it have yet even another intelligence thinking it's thoughts?
What exactly is the basis of all thoughts?
And then further consider, a single thought spans many areas of the brain, basically many energy signals starting at various places, travelling different pathways, and stopping at various places, all coherently coming together as a single thought.
Science tells us we also have basically 3 brains, the early hind brain (or reptilian brain), the mid brain, and the later more complex brain. So, does an earlier part of the brain think thoughts before the later parts of the brain receive those thought signals? But then, how would the earlier part of the brain think a thought before it is passed on to later consciously think that thought? And if the earlier part of our brain can think thoughts without the later parts of the brain, what would we need the later parts of the brain for? Just to consciously think thoughts that are already thought? What about 'freewill' then too? If we don't even originally consciously think the thoughts we think, since those thoughts are already thought before we consciously think those thoughts, then how could we ever truly have freewill to even consciously think our own thoughts?
Or so I am currently thinking about thoughts, if it is even I who am thinking my own thoughts. If it is even I who is doing the original thinking about my own thoughts. (Assuming 'I' even actually exist who is thinking the thoughts that 'I' believe am thinking). Any thoughts about the beginning of all thoughts?
